101 Toys — Kuwait

This policy explains what the 101 Toys app and website collect, why, and who else sees it. We have written it to describe what our software actually does — not what is merely typical for a shop.

Last updated: 20 August 2026

Who we are

101 Toys is an online toy store serving Kuwait, operated by Tech Growth Company for General Trading. You can reach us any time at hello@101-toys.com.

What we collect

What we do not collect

We think this list matters as much as the one above.

How we use it

To sign you in, show you your cart and wishlist, take and deliver your orders, process payments and refunds, run your wallet balance, publish the reviews you choose to write, handle returns, and send you notifications about your own orders if you have allowed them. We also use order data to run the shop itself — stock levels, and which products to reorder.

Who else sees your data

We share the minimum each provider needs to do its job:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Location

The app asks for location only on the screen where you add a delivery address, and only while you are using the app — never in the background. It is used to centre the map near you. You can refuse: the map simply starts at Kuwait City and you place the pin yourself. What we save is the pin position you confirm, not a reading of where you are.

Children

101 Toys sells toys, but it is meant for adults doing the buying. We do not offer accounts to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. There is no field anywhere in the app for a child's age or birthday.

One thing deserves a plain warning: gift registries have a free-text title, message and event date, and parents commonly write a child's first name and party date there. Anything you type into a registry is visible to everyone you send the share link to, without them needing to sign in. Please only put in it what you are comfortable sharing, and remember you can delete a registry at any time.

Gift registry share links

A registry share link carries a long, unguessable code. Anyone holding that link can see the registry title, occasion, date, message, the items on it and your first name only. It never reveals your phone number, your address, your other registries or your account.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your account information for as long as your account exists.

You can delete your account yourself, in the app, under Settings. Here is exactly what happens, because "delete" means different things at different shops:

Deleting your account frees your phone number, so you can start fresh later if you want to.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@101-toys.com from a phone number or email on the account and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Sign-in codes and session tokens are stored only as one-way hashes, never in a readable form, and codes expire after five minutes. Staff access to customer records is limited by role.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and for anything significant we will say so in the app.
